Meet Lia, our bright and beautiful 6-year-old bearded dragon. With her soft yellow and orange colouring, she looks a little bit like sunshine herself, which makes her name a perfect fit. Lia has a sweet, curious personality and loves being part of the action, whether she’s basking in her warm spot, giving people an inquisitive little head tilt, or watching the room like she knows exactly what’s going on.
Her absolute favourite treat is blue hornworms — she goes for them like they’re gummy bears. Lia is calm, expressive, and full of charm, which is one of the reasons people fall in love with bearded dragons so quickly.
Bearded dragons are native to Australia, and central bearded dragons are naturally found across the semi-arid interior of eastern Australia. In the wild, they live in warm, dry habitats like arid to semi-arid woodlands, shrublands, and grasslands with scattered trees, where they spend time basking, climbing, and keeping watch from raised perches.
